High-Speed Connectivity Reaches Namabbalan Elementary School in Tuguegarao City

Eastern Communications in partnership with unconnected.org delivered high-speed internet connectivity at a remote school located at Tuguegarao City in Cagayan.

Namabbalan Elementary School was identified as part of the beneficiaries of Project Maaasahan, in a series of turn-over ceremonies that also covered provisioning laptops for teachers and learners.

Connecting schools to the Internet is core to unconnected.org’s mission; for Eastern, it means providing greater opportunities for learners through online tools, enhancing student experience and cultivating a connected future.

This initiative is unlike any other Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, as it allows for sustainability and establishes mechanisms to support community connectivity, focusing on schools in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDA).
