KeithNet and unconnected.org Connect Schools in Antipolo City

KeithNet through unconnected.org has connected several schools situated at Antipolo City, outside the metro, with free internet access for students.

The schools, namely: Bagong Nayon I Elementary School, Bagong Nayon II Elementary School, Bagong Nayon II National High School Main, Bagong Nayon II National High School Annex,Bagong Nayon IV Elementary School, Sta. Cruz Elementary School, Antipolo National High School, and Peace Village Elementary School, were enabled with basic connectivity allowing both learners and teachers to access the internet.

This intiative was done through routers installed by KeithNet for free, and low-earth orbit satellite as backhaul. The middle-mile technology used by the local ISP is fiber in anticipation of expansions in the network stemming from increased demand due to the uptake of the community. 

The local ISP serves the schools with free access, while offering affordable connectivity to the surrounding communities.
